Svenstrup - Vejlbyfed

The route from Svenstrup to Vejlby Fed meanders through the countryside with open fields and small villages. Take a break in Vejlby and enjoy the beautiful church. Vejlby is a small village with approximately 200 inhabitants. The name was derived from Wæthælby and means the village at the ford. The village church, Vejlby Church, was ‘modernised’ in 1492, when the church tower, the porch and the vaults were erected. Top up your water bottles at the tap outside the church, and there is also a pump so you can pump up your tires, if necessary. Vejlby Fed Beach is one of Funen’s many child-friendly beaches. It has an attractive jetty from people catch crabs and fish. If you would like to get out onto the water, you can rent one of the pedalos and paddle down along the beach.
