Whale watching with the best seats on the tour boat M/S Marianne

We sail to get as many experiences and stories as possible, as well as seeing porpoises, seals, bird life, and at rare times sea eagles.

Hop aboard the tour boat MS Marianne and enjoy a boat trip on the Little Belt from the best seats, with an experienced skipper at the helm. You set out from Gammelhavn in Middelfart, from where you sail through Naturpark Lillebælt on a two-hour trip.

Whale watching with MS Marianne
Since Lillebælt Nature Park is home to one of the world's densest populations of porpoises, the little curious whale is often seen at the surface of the sea. Your skipper is very competent in finding the porpoises thus you have a good chance of experiencing them up close when you are on a whale safari with MS Marianne.

Explore Naturpark Lillebælt
Sailing in Lillebælt is always an eventful experience, as the Nature Park is home to many seals and birds - you may even be lucky enough to experience sea eagles during the sailing trip. In addition to experiencing the rich wildlife, you can also enjoy the beautiful view of the exceptional coasts of the Little Belt. The unique nature of the Little Belt is an ice age landscape and contains both smaller islands, eroded coastal cliffs, and fine sandy beaches, a variation that is best experienced from the sea.

During the trip
The trip is calm and peaceful, depending on weather and current conditions, and varies from time to time, as the goal is to get as many experiences, animal sightings, views, and stories as possible during the boat trip.
Whale watching is an exciting experience for all ages and therefore works well as a family activity. If children on board the boat want to, they are welcome in the wheelhouse, where they can try to steer the boat under expert guidance.
MS Marianne's skipper is happy to tell you about the porpoises, wildlife, and nature, as well as about the bridges and the area, during the trip.
