The best picnic spots in Middelfart

KobakkenA public area in the deer garden behind Hotel Comwell Kongebrogaarden. It is close to the sea and the forest, and in snowy winter-times a very good sleighing hill.. You will also find a covered place to have a picnic and bonfire with free wood for the fire.Up on the hill with a view of Lillebælt you will find another picnic set with grill, but it is not covered.Please notice: At the picnicspot "Kobakken" there are no access for dogs.

Fænø Old Ferry-departure A truly wonderful place with a breathtaking view of the privately owned island Fænø. Tables and benches, BBQ and grassy footing make this the perfect place for a family gathering, and it is very handicap-friendly.

The former railway, which was closed in 1966, is now home to a lovely picnic area. The site is located by the Northwest Funen Sculpture Trail, on a beautiful sloping grassy area in the middle of Asperup (between Middelfart and Brenderup).
