Østervang Plads

Far down a farm track, with views over fields and fjord – and complete silence.

Bring your kayak or SUP board. Østervang Plads sits in the middle of farmland, one of Landjord's nature campsites. You drive a long way down a farm track before you reach the small pocket where the views and the quiet are entirely yours.

You look out over the fields and the fjord, sheltered by the trees around you. Follow the track further and you reach the water's edge. Swimming and fishing are both welcome, but the water is very shallow and getting out is tricky – a kayak or SUP board is the natural choice here.

The site has a composting toilet and a fire pit, but no electricity or drinking water. Book through Landjord, and the whole place is yours. Landjord is a non-profit membership organisation that creates nature campsites on farmland, working with farmers who are returning part of their land to nature.
