TRAADEN
The name of the building is TRAADEN, while Tråden is the name used in everyday speech
TRAADEN is a new warehouse-style venue in Middelfart. Trådhallen holds up to 2,000 standing guests. Gamborg Bryghus & Streetfood, a skate hall, and KABEL29 share the same building.
It sits on Middelfart's former industrial harbor, in halls that once belonged to Nordisk Kabel- og Trådfabrikker. Built for industrial work. Still marked by it. Large, raw, and worn in all the right ways.
That's exactly what makes them work today.
Traaden is not a fixed concept – it's an active place in everyday life. In just three months, more than 70,000 people have visited. Some for concerts. Some for events, food, and drinks. Some simply because the doors were open.
Street food, a brewery, and a bar sit alongside Trådhallen – a flexible event space that adapts to both small and large gatherings. Some days the rooms are packed and loud. Other days the pace is slower. But there is always life in the building. No single mood. No single way to use it.
Trådhallen is built for events with many participants – concerts, parties, conferences, and cultural happenings where the practical and the social both matter. The space shifts character depending on what you bring into it.
Tråden is also part of the transformation of Middelfart's old harbor into a new neighborhood. Surrounded by homes, workplaces, and new public spaces, it works as a natural gathering point. A place you come back to. With a reason – or without one.
