Beaches in Middelfart

Green and still on a calm summer morning, dark blue and rippled when the wind picks up. Along Middelfart's 117 km of coastline you'll find beaches that are very different from one another – and that means there's one for you.

Middelfart has five Blue Flag beaches, all meeting requirements for clean bathing water, rescue equipment and good facilities. Vejlby Fed is the classic family beach with shallow sandy water and benches in the sun. Føns Strand lies quietly facing Fænø Sund with a bathing jetty and ice cream kiosk. Strib Nordstrand offers a direct view across the belt. Båring Strand is surrounded by summer houses and a quiet bay, and the beach at Middelfart Marina is the town's own breathing space – newly renovated with soft sand and beach volleyball.

The coast is long, and there's room for all kinds of beach days here on Lillebælt.
