Den Nye Lillebæltsbro - Havørred Hotspot nr. 108

The bridge spot at the Little Belt Bridge is perfect for sea trout and cod – especially in strong northbound current. Fish from the stone jetty or wade the short stretch south of the bridge.

A little traffic noise from the bridge is something you’ll have to live with at this exciting spot. Right under the bridge, you can fish for sea trout and cod from a large stone jetty – even in sneakers if you’re willing to hop across the rocks. But the most interesting option is wading the relatively short stretch that begins south of the bridge, where the long stone embankment ends. Here, the bottom is firm and easy to walk on.
Little Belt’s sea trout love current – the stronger, the better – and this spot fishes best in strong northbound current. With southbound current, the water slows down, and fishing is noticeably weaker. Under those conditions, Galsklint (spot 107) fishes really well instead.
Best wind direction: NE – SE.
