Museums og culture
Our culture doesn't hide behind glass. You feel it in an old hop warehouse and in a hospital room turned museum. Visit CLAY, Henner Friisers Hus, MIND or KulturØen, and get to know the area at its best – through the people and the craftsmanship that has shaped it.

In Middelfart Municipality, the cultural history isn't gathered in one place
It's spread across workshops, museums and old hospital rooms. Together, these places tell the story of the area, its craftsmanship and its people. You can follow the journey of porcelain from raw clay to glaze in a workshop that has survived for 235 years or step into Henner Friisers Hus and follow life by Lillebælt. At MIND you will hear the stories of the people that is otherwise often forgotten– the patients behind the walls, whose stories are now preserved for posterity.
