Discover Middelfart from Lillebælt

From the marinas you sail directly out into the strait, and you can easily visit several towns in Middelfart Municipality when you moor. Near Fænøsund, from May to August, there is a great chance of sailing alongside porpoises in the strait. To the west, the coastlines of Jutland near Fredericia and Kolding await. The trip is not long; therefore you have every reason to slow down and take in everything nature has to offer.

Several of the marinas have facilities such as showers, toilets and barbecue areas, and are within walking distance of restaurants and charming shops.

Explore Middelfart

Middelfart offers both nature and culture. From the town of Middelfart you can walk directly out onto the Hindsgavl Peninsula, where the tree tops close around you and gnarled trunks make you feel as though you are stepping into another world. You will experience peace, presence and a desire to simply be here, right now, in this moment.

At the museums in Middelfart Municipality you can, for example, learn more about the history of psychiatry and mental health at MIND, discover how clay becomes sculpture and functional art at CLAY, or see vintage cars at Strib Automobile Museum.
